Magnetic Island
Magnetic Island is located 8 kilometres offshore from the city of Townsville, Queensland, Australia. SeaLink run 14 ferry services a day to the island it takes around 20 mins depending on the sea conditions and costs $34 return no car, $170 with a car.
There are tours on the island and a bus service which cost $4.50 for an all day pass.
