Paranella Park


Paronella Park is a heritage listed tourist attraction located at Mena Creek, Queensland, Australia, 120 kilometres south of Cairns.

José Paronella’s dream was to build a castle so he purchased a 5ha block beside Mena Creek Falls, he built his castle, picnic area by the falls, tennis courts, bridges, a tunnel, and power it all a hydro electric generator. There are now 7,500 tropical plants and trees which have become a lush rainforest.
