Weano
Karijini National Park is 627,422 hectares and located just north of the trpic of capricorn in the Pilbara.
There is a large camping area is within easy reach of Dales Gorge. Circular Pool is a shaded place out of thr heat of the sun, Fortescue Falls and Fern Pool are waterfalls and safe swimming holes.
Weano Gorge offers a challenging Class 5 scramble over boulders and through narrow passages and wading through pools to Handrail Pool, a climb down into the gorge to a small beach, the water was very cold. At the entrance to the gorge there are warnings not to enter the gorge if there is ant chance of rain.
